Today I read this article from my daily devotional reading.. It’s good..
Growing old is perhaps the hardest task we have to face in this life. As the saying goes “Growing old is not for sissies“.
Mainly, growing old is about losses. We devote most of our early life to acquiring things, but they are merely things we will lose as we age. We lose our strength, our looks, our friends, our jobs. We may lose our health, our home, our wealth, our spouse, our independence and perhaps the greatest loss of all, our sense of dignity and self-worth.
Doesn’t it scare you? well not for me.. I love growing old.. makes me a better person and makes me know a lot of things.. I’m not afraid being left alone, because i have my God with me and remember that God’s Love never grows old. Hope yours too…
